| when I use a workspace.begintrans in Access while performing work on SQL Server I notice that the @@Trancount never increases on the SQL server. Could somebody give a brief description what is happening or point to to a good resource that explaines this in a little detailThanks |

| I think Access is using it's own transactions there and you are not taking advantage of SQL Server transactions. Use the BeginTrans method of the ADODB Connection object instead.~ Shaun MerrillSeattle, WA |
