We are in the process of upgrading from MS Access to SQL server. Can any one please advise some points.

I have questions on how to transfer the tables and queries to sql server. Most of the tables in the present MS Access DB are linked to excel download files. Going forward we do not want to have this linked tables so is there a way i can upgrade the tables in the sql server daily.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thank you for your response. I had moved my tables to sql using DTS. Now the next step is to move queries. Can i transfer queries or do i have to write the queries again. I am new to sql and I have been using only MS Access which is easy to write queries. I do not know what is a stored procedure.

Can i keep the forms and reports as it is in the MS Access and use them as a front end for sql.

Thank you for your help.
