So, basically, does the user have to export a report down to their machine before they can print it?Thanks! |

No, but they do have to at least go into "Print Preview" mode before they can print it.And warn them that if the report is Landscape, they will have to set their printer properties to landscape every time they print it.---------------------------EmeraldCityDomains.com |

With service pack 2 (RS Service pack 2) client printing is now available, I would not even think about going back to not having client printing!!! Please make sure you patch and upgrade to service pack 2 it fixes numerous bugs.And Mark's comment is a good one, the landscape vs. portrait issue needs to be addressed by MS :(, causes nothing but a hassle to the developers / dba's who create the reports.
