Hey,

I an't figure ot a way of making this work.. The statement should explain itself. I've tried a few variations but no joy!

insert into transmissions (ttype, ci_number) VALUES ('Connect Direct', (select ci_number from main where ci_name='Swift Alliance to intelliMATCH'))

Thanks

Hey, I help out when I can. Damian must have been sleeping or something.

And yeah, I usually am pretty sleepless at Noon.

That happens sometimes and we like to make sure there is a pointer to the post where there are answers in case someone stumbles across this one. In the future, there is button in the header of your post that looks like a piece of paper with a garbage can in front of it. If you spot your duplicate before it has been answered, you can delete it. I don't think it will delete once replies have been made, but I've never tried that.
