Hi,
I'm having an issue with the sql 2000 sp3, somehow the server reported this eror msg:
The log for database 'tempdb' is not available..

this error seems like is coming before:
LogWriter: Operating system error 1450(error not found) encountered.

its running from a cluster server, does anyone have any ideas what that is? We try to restart sql server on it, and it trys to start on that node for a while, then it fail over to the other node and it can start on the other node, was wondering what actually cause it.
Thanks

Hi,
we have 8 CPU, and 7.5G RAM, on the startup parameter, no /3GB or /PAE, i'm looking into that article as well, but I'm not too sure am I having the same issue, as it was running perfectly fine for a long time.
