I need help to create a stored procedure to get the table names from a database and create a Union view. There are over 100 tables.

Why do you need to union over 100 tables? That sounds very much like you might have some serious design issues .... Can you give us some more info?

Might be a horizontal partition?

EDIT: Actually, hopefully not for a post in "New to SQL Server"

you could basically start with

select table_name from information_schema.tables where table_type='table'

this is already a view, what do you mean by union? what to union? do you need to identify same table names but different owners?
