Please help soon...have to get this done. We have a huge ms access database we are upsizing to sql server. We have primary keys on all of them but not all are uniqueID-autonumber. Some are just a list with it as primary key: example: accounts is the only field in the table and it's the primary key. Contains four unique account numbers that are joined in several other places. Is this good enough for upgrade or do I 'add' a unique autonumber field to these types of tables? Before upsizing again. |

This is perfectly fine and by many people preferred. As long as they are unique numbers, they can be the primary key.---------------------------EmeraldCityDomains.com |
