| I was just reading a doc on SQL , that said that to free up the unused space from the DB , you should use the shrinkdatabase DBCC commnad. ....I want to knw how to determine how much free unused space is there in a DBThanks, |

| In Enterprise Manager if you do:Right Click the DBAll tasksShrink Databasethen the dialog box that pops up shows you the free space. (You can cancel the "Shrink" at that point)Kristen |
