| You can try to start the MSSQL Service with the -f flag, and then go in and drop the offending database(s). Restoring master from server to server is not recommended, and you are unfortunately finding out why. |

| If the both server has same path to store the data, the restoring master should be ok. In your case, you didn't have 'e:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\data\TRAActivePlannerPub_Data.MD' path.Jun |
