| I am trying to see the current activity of the SQL server. I am getting following error: Error 1222 Lock request time-out period exceeded. What could be the problem? Never seen it before |

| Something is trying to obtain a lock on an object (row, table, page) but the lock request is timing out before it can get the lock. Sounds like you have a lot of locking going on. try Go to QA and use sp_who or sp_who2. |
