I have three servers, one is a production server, one is a warehouse, one is a standby. The production server has backups being shipped to it regularly throughout the day in the event of a failure on the production server.

Now that I feel good about having all of these databases log shipped across to the standby server I started considering the Master / Model, and MSDB databases.

Q1) Do I need to copy these over to the standby server?
Q2) OR should I just make certain I have good backups of these on the standby server so I can restore them if they fail?

I've read in different places that restoring the Master DB can be problematic. Just want to make certain I'm looking at this the right way.
