| KP writes "Hi,May I know how point in time recovery is done using transaction log file? I will explain scenario...I have a database in full recovery mode. Now I took database backup at 1000 AM. Now at 1030 AM I create some tables and add data to it. Further I delete the table accidentally at 1100 AM. How can I recover my database point in time that is 1059 AM so that I can restore my tables which are deleted at 1100 AM.Thanks in AdvanceBinduraj" |

| Backup the transaction log, and keep it safe.Restore the full backup with no recovery, which will not have your tables in it.Restore the transaction log with STOPAT.Check in BOL for the exact syntax. |
