You OK, Mladen?

Know anything about converting ntext to nvarchar so SQA will handle it?

i'm OK... coughing a bit...

well BOL says under CONVERT in that big chart that conversion from ntext to nvarchar is implicit so it will be done by SQL server. you must take into account the 4000 chars lenght limit though.

"i for one have that open all day and Kristen's sticky would be nice to have"

Really?

I just use the JUMP TO picklist, at the bottom of the Topic, to get to "New to SQL Server" and there it is at the top.

I'm happy with the Active list as it is. I reckon if Stickies [assuming more than one over time!!] were in there then there wouldn't be any room for new posts.

"is that car you put on frappr yours?"

Yup, my gardener built it for me (hows that for a line shoot!)

V8, 300-ish BHP weighs around 600kg - so its ... ermmm ... "quite quick" <bg>

"you got to give me a ride in it one day"

It would be a pleasure. Wait for some warmer weather , and then just let me know when you are coming over.

"0-60 in what? 4 secs?????"

Yeah, about that. Sounds good too!

Top speed is regulated by the fact that it's a 1950's body type, so has the aerodynamics of a house brick! Its pulls nicely up to around 120mph, dunno above that, don't have much use for that sort of speed on the country lanes around here, and the air buffeting is getting quite severe by then!
