How can I check whether some backup database was made with mediapassword. If that is so, how can I get this mediapassword? |

I'm guessing that if you try a restore (header or filelist maybe) then it will tell you that it needs a pasword.Wouldn't be much of a password if you could retrieve it but maybe someone knows a way.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

As far as I know, the Restore/Backup process will prompt you for the media passwordquote: Wouldn't be much of a password if you could retrieve it
