How can I check whether some backup database was made with mediapassword. If that is so, how can I get this mediapassword?

I'm guessing that if you try a restore (header or filelist maybe) then it will tell you that it needs a pasword.
Wouldn't be much of a password if you could retrieve it but maybe someone knows a way.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

As far as I know, the Restore/Backup process will prompt you for the media password
