| Hi,Please help, I am trying to setup email subscriptions using reporting services. When the subscription runs i get a status of Logon Failed.What does this error mean?Problem with the SMTP settings?Problem with some background user settings?Any info in the right direction welcome.Si |

| Hi SiCater, welcome to SQLteam,SMTP (simple mail transport protocol), is the email configuration setup. I guess its probably wrong and has to be reconfigured again |

| Hi,I tried the exact same smtp setting on my home reporting services that worked fine.However, on our business system i get the Logon Failed status.How can i tell if it is a smtp problem of a firewall / server problem?regardsSi |
