I think I asked the same question when I first started with reporting services. Stupid me I went and bought 3 books (each worth about 40-60 bucks). Barely used, awful books, some which were "suggested" as good reads. RS is not something to learn by reading but by doing. I would say play around to get a good idea on how rs works. When you say driving the sql reporting services from .net pages, what exactly do you mean? Remember RS is just a url, so you can throw it in a container or a frame. You can pass parameters simply like any web app for it. Let me know if you need anything, been a hectic week, but I love dealing with RS Keeping the web experience alive -- http://www.web-impulse.comRS Blog -- http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/jhermiz |
