| Hi all,This is only my 2nd thread, but i've recently taken on administration of SQL and SQL admin at my company. Some of the backups are currently setup but I would like to make sure they are the best possible. Could someone point me in the direction or let me know a tutorial of the best practices if I want to backup my databases nightly and ensure I could restore fully? Thanks in advance. |

| also, I will be backing up the .bak file from the SQL Server after it is done using a Veritas remote agent, and would like to keep separate backups of each nght of the week. |
