Hi all,I have just installed SQL on my laptop and joined my servers... this lets me see my work server and dev server together in the same group... I have a problem creating a DTS Package on the local machine(the new dev server)... I get error: DBNETLIB ConnecitonOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access is denied... Can someone help?when life hands you lemons, ask for tequila and salt  |

| Got it... I was just leaving the Server source on the destination to (local) hoping that this would interperit the appropriate server... obviously not as when I manually select the destination as my instance it works. Thanks for reading! Pacewhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequila and salt |
