| Can I make trigger that update table in different database on different server? So, I need to make connection to another server, then updated table there in another database.Thanks,Ilimax |

| A really bad idea.Better to put the value in a staging table and update via a job on the destination server.You will need to create a linked server then use the fully qualifies name for the tablelinkedserver.database.owner.table==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
