| Hello everyone. I need help with a question regarding to moving Reporting Services Databases to a new machine with new SQL Server instances. I was able to detach the databases and attached it to the new SQL Server 2000. I did rsactivate, rsconfig, and now doing RSKeyMgmt.exe. However it asks if I wanted to extract the encryption key. My question is that by extracting the key, will it take it out from the source computer or just makes a backup copy of it. We are still using the source computer until I'm done moving everything and I'm not too sure if it'll just backup or actually take out the key.Thanks in advance. |
