Let me clarify a few things. The SQLTeam.com blogs are *NOT* part of this. There is no advertising on the SQLTeam.com blogs. I don't expect to put any on but if I ever do I will work with the posters to make sure they are comfortable with it.

This is just another advertiser on the site. They just happen to be advertising jobs. This will finally give me a real answer to give to recruiters that want to advertise on the site.

(Rockmoose, I know you put a smiley in your post but I just want to be completely clear to the readers that this doesn't affect the blogs at all. Sorry if I overreacted )

OK, that's 100% clear Graz, but just so I'm clear: I'm very happy with MVJ's idea about being paid-to-post

Heh. I'd love to do it. I'll need to do a little research on that. I'd be inclined to pay based on how many sites refer to yoru post or where it appears in Google results.

Perhaps we could just have Mugs? I'm sure you'd be able to promise those for years without actually having to ship anything ... I mean ... the TEST phase for Mugs must be .. oh ... Years I expect!

Since I don't have a blog here, i don't really care. But, on the WTF site it is mentioned that sqlteam blogs are part of this. Here is the quote (emphasis is mine)
quote:

Who's Already Signed Up
We have several job listings from various employers that are waiting to be syndicated. We also have several blogs -- including The Daily WTF (surprise, surprise), SqlTeam.com, Mike Gunderloy's Larkware, Phil Haack's you've been HAACKED, and Chris Sell's SellsBrothers blog. Expect to see the network in action over the next few days.

Ah. I finally see what you mean. Apparently I didn't read that very closely. My statement still stands though. The ads will appear on the main site and not on the blogs. Sorry for the confusion -- I didn't get to read the announcement before he made it.
