Hi all,I'm not very well aquainted with sql server profiler and the tuning advisor and allthough I have planned to look more in to profiler I'm not so sure about the tuning advisor. I have read that the index tuning wizard in 2000 is basically useless, while the 2005 version is supposed to be alot better. Is it worth looking at or should I focus on doing more of my own tuning like I have done in the past?--Lumbago"Real programmers don't document, if it was hard to write it should be hard to understand" |

I did a several tests. Also write one article (Spanish) about that. Profiler in 2005 and tuning advisor is much better that Index tuning wizard. Even using Advisor with sql 2000.If you can read Spanish I can provide you a link. All in Love is Fair Stevie Wonder |
