| Well, after having a crash course on backups, tlogs and some other good stuff, I pretty much made the decision that I need to get some good books to further help me progress in my database admin path.Right now, we are running SQL 2000 SP4, but we are planning on upgrading to 2005. With that, and the fact I am pretty new to databases, what books are recommended?I want to get a book that will help me:-better administration-write SQL query code as well as understand it (what is difference between SQL programming and SQL query (such as on the sqlteam bookstore)I feel that my career path is going to start heading down a Database path, so anything that you recommend with that is great as well.I can't thank everyone enough for the help and input here. Everyone has been great!CheersTheCoffeeguy |
