Hi
we have backup strategy like this
every sunday at 3.00 AM --FULL BACKUP,
daily Monday to saturday at 1.00 AM --DIFFERENTAIL BACKUP,
daily every 2 hour transactional backup,

if datbase get damaged on thursday at 4.30 pm what are the backups I have to restore.

please suggest me.

The first thing you should do is try and backup your transaction log. If you are able to backup the transaction log you could restore to a point somewhere between your last scheduled tlog backup and the one you just took. Restore in this order...last full backup, the last differential and then all of the transaction log backups older than your last differential...you will need to use "stopat" to get to a date/time before your "damage" occurred.
