Hello all,
I have two sql instances hosted on the same hardware. Both instances are Desktop Edition. For named instance I would like to configure SQL Server memory, to use Dynamically, but maximum to be half of available memory. Whenever I change and save changes nothing happens. If I again open Memory tab in SQL Server Properties, I see that changes were not saved. After each attempt to change I restart SQL service.
Since that I have not enough memory I would like to limit usage of memory for the second instance.
How to do that ?

Thanks in advance.
