| does anyone know how i may make tlogs a little more friendly to read?i tried using DBCC log ,but its impossible to understand |

| what are you trying to do? If you are trying to pull data from the logfiles (to recreate a drop table, or restore missing data for example) you can use 3rd party tools like lumigent log explorer or red-gate sql log rescue.-ec |

| yeah im just preparing something just incase there comes a time we need to recover , so there is no way of viewing the logs in an understandable manner just to undertstand the type of logs occuring on db for now? |

nope. you need to use a 3rd party tool. I have used both tools in the past, and have found that they both work similarly.-ec |
