"anybody have the books online url?"
You mean you don't have the BOL in your local PC ? It is found in the SQL Server installation CD

BOL is Books OnLine. If you don't have it, install from the CD or download from that url

1. Go to Start, Programs, Microsoft SQL Server.
2. Click on Books Online submenu.

Or type this (for SQL 2000 only) in Run command in Start menu:

hh C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Books\sql80.col

Assuming this is the path of your SQL Server installation.

This should be your first point of reference when you want to find out the syntax, answer to questions etc.
