| Hello.,Last night we applied windows patches and after that , the SQL Server 2000 is not stating.The machine is window 2000.Its just showing as starting in the services(administrative tools).what should I do or check onThanks |

| I have got it started. It was trying to start DTC. I stopped that service and started back the service |

| you can always open up the SQL error logs in a text editor to see where it is in the startup process.-ec |
