I am installing sql 2000 sp4 on a windows cluster. After authenticating using windows or sql login, I receive the following message in event viewer:

EventSource: SecurePathAgent
EventID: 6
Message: "WaitForSysLogEvent: unable to read log"

At this point the installation comes to a halt. SecurePathAgent is an HP SAN utility. I'm unclear as to what this message means and wondering if anyone has ever stumbled across it.

Interesting....I tried to run through the install again this afternoon and this time it was successful.
