| i have a DTS Package a saved when i set up the package. it's in local packages in Enterprise Manager now. is there any way i can simply set up a shortcut on my desktop to execute that DTS, rather then having to nav though Enterprise Manager?yeah, i know i'm lazy :o) |

| You can execute DTS packages from command line via dtsrun.exe, which you can wrap into a bat/cmd file and save to your desktop. dtsrun.exe is documented in SQL Server Books Online.Tara Kizerhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
