Hi,

Is it possible to select a record by just the date part of the data type TIMESTAMP?

date_time
2007-04-20 16:27:01

For example, a query to select all records added today.

yes. something like this:

SELECT ...
FROM..
WHERE YourDateColumn >= '20070420'
