how can i set the connection timeout of the sql server..
this is my error
"SQLException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding."

the code is ok, when handling small records but im having a problem when dealing with a big one.

this is the setting of your client drivers.
in .net this is the property SqlCommand.CommandTimeout which is 30 seconds by default.
