If I want a particular command to be executed daily at 8 PM than what should I do? Is it possible? |

Er... as your question title says - schedule a job Check Books Online for the SQL Server Agent (this manages the job schedules & execution) and, well, scheduling a job. If you want to get right on in there - go to Management -> SQL Server Agent in Enterprise Manager, right click Jobs and select New Job. The rest is pretty simple. |

need to make sure the agent service is running on your server. it's a separate service from sql itself.  www.elsasoft.org |
