| We have a server running sql server 2000. We loaded sql server 2005 on the same machine (separate instances, not an upgrade). We later uninstalled sql 2005. After doing this, enterprise manager ceased working for sql 2000 on that server. The database itself is intact, and can be accessed from other machines, but EM on that particular server doesn't work anymore. Why, and what is the simplest solution to correcting this issue? |

| the error is MMC could not create the snap-in.I haven't tried anything at this point, but i'll go ahead andtry reinstalling the tools. |
