<%@ Language="VBSCRIPT" %>
<!-- #include file="../includes/include.asp" -->
<%
connect.open connectString

Dim testSQL
testSQL = "INSERT INTO development (address) VALUES 'some address'"

connect.execute(testSQL)

%>

<% connect.close() %>
Any idea what could be wrong with this statement? It's causing the following error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement.

/asa_dev/gm/dbTest.asp, line 10
Thanks,
Jason

Have you tried running the insert statement in Query Analyzer/Management Studio to see if the statement is correct in SQL Server? You should always start there first rather than figuring it out via your application.
