Hi all

I've read the post from somewhere that if you do REINDEX, that the statistic gets rebuild by default? Is this true? The sampling value is default which 10%?

Also, does this this the same case if you do INDEXDEFRAG?

Reindex will update the stats with 100%. If you do an UPDATE STATS without mentioning the percentage it will update the stats with a 10% sample data.
