| Would having and using frequently AOL on a pc prevent me from installing a database?I have removed all previuos versions of SQL turned off AV and firewalls.This has only occured once before on a chinese version of XPAny suggestions |

| This is for a potential client. They use AOL and are unwilling to change it. I provide technical support for a waste management software company. We have been unsuccesful in trying to build or install a prebuilt Database for a particular client. What other conflicts might prevent a pc from installing SQL? |

No. It should not.What is the error ? When does it occurs ? During installation of SQL Server or creating a database ?
