Hi,

I need a recommendation on a good SQL book (pref. downloadable or free) with some hacks7tricks and mainly SQL language explained (level: advanced) as well a recommendation on a Microsoft server 2005 SQL book with some tricks and and MS server 2005 programming.

Try Henderson (sql server) and Celko (general sql).

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
