Please forgive me if this has been answered already a billion times...

I am trying to setup poor man's log shipping for a DR environment and am pondering on the process to copying and loading only NEW files. The DR process will run every 15 minutes for TRAN dumps on Prod...and I don't want it to copy and load dumps that have already been copied and loaded.

I am trying not to move the Prod files or rename them...

The only solution that I am thinking goes down the path of creating tables on the DR server to keep track of what has been copied and loaded.

But before I go there...I wanted to check and see if someone knew of a simpler (and easier to support) solution.

Thanks for anyone who has an idea!
Chris
