All,

Using enterprise manager I need to findout if a particular Database has a backup scheduled or not?

How can I check this using enterprise manager?

Can somone please list the steps?

Looking for a quick reply.

Check scheduled job under sql server agent and maintenance plan.

In SQL server 2000 enterprise manager, under "Managment" under "Sql Server Agen" the "Jobs" is empty.
Why is that?

It's empty because you don't have any jobs. Are you a sysadmin for this server?

Then perhaps you can't see the jobs due to permissions. Talk to your DBA to see what is there.

BTW doesn't the following tells you if you have a schedule backup?

use msdb
Select * from sysjobhistory

It means you have no jobs setup. It's possible that your sysadmin has it scheduled in another tool. Can't you just contact them to find out what they have in place and where?
