Hi there may someone help me please? I have just started partitioning my sales cubes based on years ie:

one partition for 2007
one partition for 2006
one partition for 2005.etc.etc

Now everyday I do a partition process automated through DTS for 2007 year, after the previous days sales go into the fact table.

This works fine but the thing is all the other years partitons ie 2006 and 2005 go offline and there is no data in them until i process each partition seperatley.

Can someone advise me how i can process 2007 without disrupting 2005 and 2006 and keeping this data still available in the cube without reprocessing these one's one at a time please ?

Dont know if I am going mad or not but today I tried this process technique through a dts and only one partition processed leaving the historic one unprocessed whereas yesterday when I conducted the same test all worked fine with sp4 in place, very stange !
