| Hi,I'm working on a project that's going to require me to connect to an instance of SQL Server installed on a machine other than my development machine (i.e. not localhost). I don't know as yet whether the machine i'm going to be connecting to is within the company's LAN or otherwise. What do i need to ask IT support to install on my development box? I guess i'll need the .NET framework and either Enterprise Manager & Query Analyzer or SQL Server Management Studio but what else, if anything is required? A suite of client tools or something along those lines?ThanksMat |
