My database is around 156 gb, and is in full recovery model. My user is complaning that log file is full and needs to be truncate. Other than backing up the database, do we have some other ways to truncate the log file. Like commands.

Any help will be higly appreciated.

You have to backup log periodically.

Actually probably "often" would be better for a 156GB database!
