Far too little information.....you will need to post sample queries, sample DDL and sample execution plans....see the FAQ list...especially Kristens verion in the "New to SQL Server" forum.Speed is the result of "Equipment, database design, query structure, user load and network traffic". You've only "partially" described 1 factor. |

Are you doing proper housekeeping? reindexing, updating statistics, backup up TLogs, etc?Kristen |

What's sql edition? How much memory used by sql? What kind of disk arrays does the server have? How do you place db files on disk? |
