when i run the query it works on SQL Query Analyzer but it times out on enterprise manager any suggestion to why it times out?
Any possible ways of resolving the time out.

To view data, why did you use EM?
As said always use Query Analyser for all your data manipulations

EM is not designed for query, that's why you have query analyzer.
