Well...it just happens that you should go to SQL Server Books Online to find out SQL Server inner workings or grab Inside SQL Server by Kalen Delany

detail in sense, as soon as the query ius written how it is parsed ,cpmliped and executed.like that

the Inside SQL Server series of books is also very good.



EDIT:
anything by Kalen Delaney or Ken Henderson is highly recommended.
