| I have a column name "DESC" in SQL Server table and I am getting an error when trying to insert data into this column. I cannot rename this column as it's not in my hand.Please anybody reply me with good solution I am new to SQL.Thanks |

Please provide the error, you are probably having difficulty due to the fact that DESC is a reserved word. Typically you just need to put [ ] around the column name to resolve this. For example:INSERT TABLE([DESC])VALUES ('Test') Future guru in the making. |
