I need your assitance again.Is it possible to do the partition on existing table?

if yes can anybody advice me to do that

Are you referring to partitioned views/tables? If so, then yes you can partition existing tables but you may need to rebuild them if they don't conform to the requirements of partitioning. See BOL for more details.

No! I dont have view. It is a physical table. I want to partion that table. Is there any need to change the schema..? Or i need to go to view..?

You are missing my point. There are two types of partitioning. Both occur on tables.

Check BOL for what type of partitioning you want and what the requirements are.

If you want to partition table, have to defind partition function and schema first then recreate the table with partition schema.
