I am studying for my MCTS sql server 2005 from home

and was just wondering how long it should take me to get through it

throughly. I am going through the Microsoft Implementation and maintainace self kit book.

Before i started i had no prior experience with sql or SQL 2005, but i find T-SQL syntax and Management Studio not to difficult. I understand the priciples quite well.

I just want to get an idea of how long it should take me to complete and be ready for the exam.

Also what is the exam pass mark?

pass is 70 percent.

can't really give you an estimate since i had prior knowledge of sql server.
a month? i guess it depends on how much time do you dedicate every day to it.

Yeah true.

silly question really.

But 70 percent sounds good, i thought it was 90 percent.

Im only on the first chapter, ive been learning t-sql first.
