I'm trying to setup a maintenance plan to backup a SQLServer 2000 database.

I create maintenance plan with daily backup to disk, and I save maintenance plan. If I enter again in maintenance plan schedule fields and folder to store backup are empty.

There is a field to say that backups older that some time should be deleted. There is a field to say how old must be backups to be deleted in minutes, hours, days, etc. I see this enumerated field empty, so I can not select time.

I get no error when creating and saving maintenance plan, but everytime I see schedule and folder fields empty, both for backup data and for backup transactions.

I have same problem with all databases in this server.

Thank you very much.

Books online explains those in details.
